The Place

A private beachfront sanctuary on the sand at La Saladita β€” home to one of the world's great longboard waves.

Built from the land up over four years. Every material, every detail chosen by hand. The result is something you feel the moment you walk in β€” hand-poured concrete underfoot, local oak and copper throughout, and the Pacific and Sierra Madre del Sur appearing through floor-to-ceiling glass at every turn.

MorningCoffee on the pool deck. Check the surf from the roof. Walk the beach to the point break or paddle out to the reef right in front.
AfternoonWork from the palapa on fiber optic internet. Lunch in the outdoor kitchen. Cool off in the lap pool.
EveningSunset from the roof deck over the Sierra Madre. Dinner under the palapa. The only sound is the ocean.
NightStars over the Pacific. A fire in the courtyard. The waves at the point still breaking down the beach.

La Saladita β€”
one of the world's great
longboard waves

45 minutes from Zihuatanejo International Airport β€” direct flights from Houston, Dallas, LAX, Denver, Chicago, and Mexico City. La Saladita is a slow, peeling left that runs for hundreds of meters along a sandy point. The wave breaks year-round, with the best swells from May through October. The famous point is a 20-minute beach walk β€” your morning warmup. And there's a reef break right out front that fires on the right swell.
